So I signed the papers on my mortgage refinance today and decided to celebrate with a small app spree. I was originally going to app for 5 cards but one of the offers ended a week or two too early. So here are the 4 cards that I app'd for:

Amex SPG Biz: Approved after a call to verify info. CL -3k

Ink Plus: Had to call in. Denied initially talked to supervisor. Denied again. Offered to close Ink Bold. Approved!! I was going to close the Bold anyhow because the AF was coming up. CL -5k

Barclays US Airways MC: Instant approval CL -10k

Chase Marriott Rewards Premier: Approved after call to verify info. CL -18K

I was a little worried about all the trouble I had with the Ink app but I can understand their hesitance since my Bold card only has about 10-11 months of history and I have about 7 new cards in the last year or so. Overall I'm very happy with the outcome.

This app spree should net me the following signup bonuses:

25k SPG points

50k UR points

40k US Airways miles

70k Marriott points

Nice app apree. That's quite a spending limit you have to meet to get the rewards.

The monthly spend to get the bonuses shouldn't be more than 2k per month because the spg card gives you 6 months. I can make that with normal spending habits.
