Although, what I'M looking at is that Fixed Mortgage they are offering with NO PMI!!

My main goal in rebuilding is to get a good mortgage rate in 18 months. Oh the pain....

Sorry, I am new here and not too familiar with Credit cards, auto loans, etc... I have an auto loan which I pay almost 7% interest on. Looking to lower that a bit. its already been over 7 months withut any late payments etc. I live in the NY area.. could you guys recommend anyone that I can refinance through and get a lower rate? Amout owed is around $40k. Thanks.

Does PLOC mean personal loan? Could you get actual cash from this company to pay of other debts? How long do you have to pay it back? Im looking to pay off my car note with a lower interest rate.

A PLOC is Personal Line of Credit.  You can transfer funds to your checking account or savings account to borrow.  NASA has one with an interest rate of 8.25%.

Well, all this activity piqued my interest, so I went over to NASA FCU to open a membership and... my application got sent to a specialist for further review?  On just the share savings membership, not even a CC app??  That's weird, so much for late-night surprise success for me.

My membership was accepted but my cc application was instantly denied due to bk. Just applied 30 min ago

Thanks. So once you get the PLOC.. how long do you have to pay it back? Do you think my wife would get approved with a 700~ credit score? I'm guessing you have to make monthly payments or?

I just applied for membership and it was sent to a specialist as well. So you need to wait for full membership status to apply for their card for two soft pulls?
