The inquiries will have a more immediate effect and lower scores a bit. The cards themselves won't effect you in any way until they first report. After that, it depends on a whole host of variables (total accounts open, total utilization, debt-to-income, etc.)

Without a complete credit profile, it's hard to say. It good be significant or it might be minimal; it all depends on what was on file before.
