I must be cold, bored, crazy....or all three. Three for three with apps this week, though. Who knew? First app spree with no 7-10 day messages! The latest, Barclays Ring for $10,000. It's strange that when you start thinking about apping, a zillion different scenarios abound in your head. The biggest dilemma is which cards, of course, then obssessing over which cards pull which bureaus. And, endless checking forum threads for advice! I decided to app Barclays because after approvals from Discover and Chase this week, Equifax and Experian pulls were something I did not want to revisit. So, I followed members advice on apping the CC that forum members know pulls TU-Barclays.
I love Barclays app experience, here's why: Fast app approval with the CL plastered right in the middle of approval in large font. Barclay's allows you to register right away for your online banking, with a credit card number already created! You can set your alerts, contact info, etc. FICO score not available until receiving card, though. An intuitive site, your credit line, personal info and account number is set up as if you went through the process of waiting to receive your card and registering it after activation. Well done, Barclays. I hope service is up to par.
As always, thanks to forum members for their insights.
With those scores you are not nuts. Congrats!!!!
+1. It'll be nuts not to app with those scores.
769 ⋅ INQs: 6 | 774 ⋅ INQs: 5 | 764 INQs: 8 | UTIL: 2% | AAoA: 5yr 8mos | Total Credit Line: $873,950 |
Those are pre-app scores. That being said, once you"ve come back from the ash heap, you never get used to good things happening!
Sweet, great start limit congrats
Congrats!
Congrats on the 3 new cards!
Congratulations!
CONGRATS. I'm now five for six with my own app spree. Citi being the only holdout.
