I was very nervous applying for NFCU's Cash Rewards card. I had a pre-Approval sitting on my profile the last month and used that option to apply. The pre-approvals are short form applications. But I decided now was the time to go for it. Was very pleasantly surprised to be instantly approved for a starting limit of $7K.For sure my biggest limit ever. Was surprised that I was instantly approved with a unpaid collection on my credit file. Very grateful for this new start. And want to thank everyone on Myfico forums for your advice and encouragement over the many months while rebuilding my credit. I didn't see my APR and didn't do the print out. Will check tomorrow. This milestone is very good on so many levels. I'm so pleased with the starting limit that don't feel the need to call in to get a increased limit right away. Will wait about 6 months then will look into a higher limit.
Congrats now update your siggy

Seem like every subprime company out there has sent me a pre-approval.Might be a wow card company some where.

Still can't believe I was approved.Very cool !!
Finally my first nice card with a very good credit limit. All the patience and decision to not accept pre-approved subprime cards has paid off.
Congrats MountainHiker!
