I have a closed nfcu Platinum that has $7600/$9000 left to pay on it. It was closed in agreement with nfcu a couple of years ago when I was still in college and needed a lower interest rate to avoid collections. I have a couple of baddies on my reports and my scores are in my siggy- as you can see, quite bad lol. Other than that, I have a Cap1 qs1 with a $500 CL that is 8-9 years old.. anyway- app'd for a new platinum card and was of course denied- but they invited me to apply for a secured card. I did once I had $500 to deposit into savings and was approved with no additional HP
