I had asked for a cli about 2 months ago of only $1000.00 and got it so, I was feeling kinda lucky tonight & decided to pull the trigger and ask for another $7000.00 since I only have 1 inq. on EQ and low & behold, I was approved instantly for another $7000.00 I love Navy

Nice CLI !! enjoy
TYVM... People weren't kidding when they said if your good to Navy they'll take care of you !
I am looking for my long lost relative so I can join NFCU....
Congrats....
Navy is awesome.. asked for an increase from 1000 to 10,000, approved instantly today.
thats a big jump....
I was surprised also. I have 2 cards with Navy. Cash rewards visa @ $24,000 and now the Plat. MC @ $10,000
Absolutely love NFCU!
Are they asking for employment documentation or any other things like that? Or just approving it? Instantly or the next day or a few days later?
Also, how long have you had the cards you asked for a CLI on? Any balances owed to those cards?
I have two cards and they're pretty much maxed out because I took advantage of balance transfer offers. I'd do a little bit more if they gave me a little bit more room, though.
I re-read and I see that you said "instant." So, does this mean there is no hard credit pull?
My CLI in November on my Cash Rewards Visa went to review. Went from 17,500 to $24,000 - asked for $30,000 - this was a hard pull on EQ. Had the account for just under 6 months.
My CLI today on my Plat MC was instant. No hard pull, soft pull only on EQ. No manual review. Had the account for just under 7 months.
When I joined NFCU last May I app'd for the CR visa and the NavCheck and they required pay stubs and 2 bank statements at the time. Have not requested docs since. I do direct deposit a consistent $600 / month into my checking and pay bills with it but I do not think that really influences the decision.
Mine was approved instantly online
