I am in the process of rebuilding, but have been able to removed most of my baddies. I still have a few baddies: 3 paid collections (working on getting them removed), a couple of charged off, and few accounts with late payments. My scores are EQ601, TU631, and EX641. 

 

I got AMEX Delta, Blue Cash Preferred, and the Premmier Reward Gold Card.

You almost make me want to go for it... 

I am going to wait just a tad... my Experian is at 660 .. Im just to nervous and I really want the Amex Blue Everday Cash ... 

Its painful.... 

 

They should just have a game made where you do get credit .. but if you pickup a bad card its a late pay etc. 

But you can rebuild and apply for a credit card...  IE Amex and get the thrill of approval or denial.  

Someone should market that game.  It would be better than Monopoly and a learning experience. 

Then I would not itch so bad to apply.

How did you apply for the card before getting approve for the membership.
