I have had a Neiman Marcus Card since 05! After joining this board I have been wondering why I never received a CLI. Being that I apped in college I figured perhaps they had no income information on me etc...
So, today I decided to see if I was eligible for a CLI. I gave the rep all of my income information. She actually asked for my household total. The process took 5 minutes and my limit was doubled from 500-->1000 and I was advised to call in every 30-49 days for another increase (no hard pull). Even though they want me to do all of the work to get CLI's, I don't mind and will keep calling!
Congrats! Thanks for sharing.
Grazie!
WTG, OP! Congrats to you, keep calling until you get to $100k!
Haha thanks yudeology101! I am on it!
congrats

Man, talk about long overdue! I'm not sure what all you could by at NM for $500! Glad this worked out for you... have you confirmed whether it was SP or HP? I was under the impression that this one along with Saks (formerly with HSBC) were HPs for CLIs unless their policy changed since Capital One took over.

Thanks everyone!!
@FinStar And I know right!!! I usually shop at Neiman Marcus Last Call (Outlet) so I managed to get by for a couple of purchases but your totally right!!! Trying to shop in the regular store is tricky. If they have a sale online I would have to try and choose 1 item at a time :/. Haha but I am going to keep working on the CLI's until at least 5K so the card could actually be useful if I need it!

Congrats on growing your NM CC. I also use it a NM Last Call and during any other special events (i.e. triple points, etc). Use it frequently and try again in about 6 months to see if it can grow more. I was approved in-store in Chicago and since there is no NM nearby where I live I mainly use it online - love their gourmet foods and desserts!
