I fell out of the stupid Garden, but for some good reasons. Tried for a Target RED card since we get a lot of the kiddos clothes there, and figured we can PIF whenever we do. Only a $300 so might not use it that much, but always PIF! Then, I figured I have been wanting to get a Best Buy card, for various reasons, but figured an auto NO due to BK 2.5 years ago. Tried and got approved for 1K...Had the choice of regular store only card or the MC. I chose the MC, because I will use it for paying utl bills and groceries. (2% Cash back) Anywho, I know BB has there card through Citi now, is that like a true IN (if you will to Citi, not that its super important) I know its not a main card of there's, but this is an IN to Citi right? Thanks everyone!
Congrats! As to whether the BB card is an "in" to Citi, I don't know. I've had the BB card (just the store card) for almost a year now and still get no pre-qualified offers on Citi's website (although I have gotten 2 in the mail - 1 for Home Depot and 1 for their Diamond Preferred). I did get an increase on my BB card though. It started at 1k and is now at 5k (took a HP).
Congrats! I don't think Citi backed store cards and Citi credit cards have any connection.
Congrats
awesome, thank yall! Ya, I figure its not a true CITI card, just a backed by one...hell, hope that made sense. Either way, CITI has to make the approval, so it could easily just an "easy" way to get an approval from there backed cards... So, I am a little surprised being out of BK7 2.5 years ago.
Congrats! Citi recently turned me down for DC, however a few days ago they gave me a $6k CLI on my HD card which is a Citi backed card.
awesome! Thanks again...I figured its all good, and I really don't need a card from them so to speak. A true CITI card vs a backed by CITI or whatever...lol
Congrats! 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
