Thx again everyone. I didnt think to recon with Discover, this is not a first denial from them, but then again, I've tried multiple times for both chase freedom and Barclay rewards. I'd even totally given up on Barclays. So I will give it a shot.

I app'ed online for chase and it said if the cl wasn't enough to call when I get the actual card. How are they with cli for totally new cards? I've had bank accounts with them for awhile now.

Btw, I also got cli's with one of my capital one cards (online, actually), bestbuy rewards card (which is about 1 month old), and some of my store cards (jcrew, Amazon, Walmart & gap). Im pretty happy right now.
