Nordstrom Auto CLI from $1000 to $2500!!!!!!!!!

So this morning I went to Nordstromcard.com to make a payment, yet the website wasn't working and I got an error message. So I called the 1800 number and after I called it and verified my information the very first thing it told me was Congratulations I've received a credit limit increase to $2500 before telling me my account information!!!!!!!!!!! I only got approved for this card in late February 2017, so I've only had it around 5 months! Best part was it was an auto increase, I didn't request or ask for it or anything!

Does anyone know if Nordstrom upgrades people to the Visa like Synchrony Bank does to the Mastercard version of their retail cards or Target does for their Mastercard (Target is issued by TD Bank, same bank that issues Nordstrom)

I received this when inquired about it the other day:

However, you may apply for a Nordstrom Visa card in any of our Nordstrom or Nordstrom rack stores at any register. We do apologize for any inconvenience. Sincerely, Amanda, Nordstrom Card Services   I thought I read somewhere on the forums that people have had it happen. Just not sure how recent it happened for them.

Thanks for the response. That's disappointing to hear though. They don't even allow you to just apply for the Visa, they work just like Synchrony does, in that you'll be considered for the Visa first and if you don't qualify they'll automatically consider you for the regular store card.

I just got this card from the store couple of days ago and later called them for Visa upgrade, after they put me on hold for 5 min rep came back and told me to call them after 6 months for Visa upgrade!
