OMG! I got APPROVED for CARECREDIT!

OH MAN! I was so scared to apply, but i did, and I was APPROVED!

Requested $5000, approved for $3000!

Thats my highest Credit Card Limit! Closest i have is $1100 with Merrick Bank.

SYNCB did a hardpull on my TU CR.

My Tu score is 638. It has 3 collections [2 PIF, 1 Unpaid, all over 3 years old}

Uti is at 25%

My questions are:

Can I request a CLI Right Away? Because i really need the whole $5000 for dental work.

Will this high Starting Credit Limit (well, high to me at least) boost my Credit Score?

OMG, i almost didnt apply because i was so nervouse, but im sooo glad i did. Even if i never use it, it will definatly boost my UTI!

Hey Op I got my Care Credit account about 3 mths ago my scores were 662 I believe, somewhere in the 660 range and I asked for 7.5 and I got 4 k , I tried for a CLI upon getting the card and was denied for not enough experience at current credit line . You can try but beware that sometimes CC can be a Hp , most of the time lately it's been SP but lots have gotten Hp when asking too

Congrats on the approval, I originally was approved for 5k however have your dentist call for you that's what mine did and they upped the limit to 12k without doing a hard pull. All I did was get on to confirm it was me and handed the phone back to the dentist office.

Nice. I was thinking about trying for a cli right away, but I can't have the dentist do it right away because it won't be for another couple of weeks I start my appointments.
How long till I can call in to do an automated CLI? 48 hrs?

I haven't seen many people getting a CLI directly after approval for CareCredit in a long while.  I think it was about 4 months in that I got my first one, and then again after another 4-5 months.  I received two CLIs through using their chat online. Went from 800 to 7K, then from 7K to 12K; both were SPs

Wow, nice increases Tigers. I think I'm going to try and see what happens. Worst case sceneriio it'll be a hp. But hopefully I get a cli and a sp.

I'll update as soon as I get a approve or deny.

In the mean time, I'm super site I even got a SL of 3000, and even that I got approved at all.

CONGRATS!!! They are generous also with CLI request. I use mine for vet. Just be careful with the financing rules though. There is a minimal limit to qualify for the 6MTH+ no interest to pay it off. I went to vet last month and put on like $90 and paid it off my following payday since the interest on the card is so high. My big interest free I use it for plastic surgeon office and purchase all my facials at once for the year to show activity and get that no interest promo paying it off before interest hits. The card does come in handy as loong as you qualify and payoff before promo period ends. :-)

Congrats OP! Care Credit is Ann account that has a tremendous potential to grow incrementally. 

I originally applied and was approved for 1800?? Not certain anymore. I used moderately for about 3 or 4 months and then requested 6k through online chat and THEY countered me worth 8k!! 

Awesome!! I'll take it! I want this card to break 10k in the near future, as the wife would like to upgrade the twins!

So how does the promo work?
Like do I have to specify I want to use the promo at the time I'm charging a bill onto it, or does it automatically apply to the first charge? Or does it depend on the dentists office?
And is the promo only good one time, or can I use it multiple times?
