So I got a notification that my credit report changed this morning. I logged in to see that NFCU had increased my credit limit from $500 to $1000. I logged into NFCU to see if my nRewards had been unsecured (wasn't even expecting it for another month), and yes! They had released my $500 and doubled my limit!!!!

But wait, there's more...

So I hit the luv button, because what have I got to lose. I asked for a $10,000 limit, thinking maybe they'd give me $5000 (my highest card limit being $5100). But they approved me immediately for the full $10,000!!!!!!

I'm still in shock. lol

This army brat loves her some Navy Federal CU!

Congrats.  You probably should have asked for more since they automatically gave you what your were asking for.

Thanks! Yeah, I thought that too. But going from a $500 secured line to $10,000 unsecured ain't too bad for a day's work.

Yep what you got was excellent.  I only said that because I learned from @Creditaddict (the NFCU specialist) that if they give you the amount you asked for and they don't counter offer you left $$$ on they table.  That's a lesson learned for both of us!
