A little while after I requested my CLI today, I called customer service to make a couple inquiries about car rental insurance. While I had a rep on the phone, I decided to ask why I couldn't see that a credit inquiry had been made. She told me to take it up with the reporting agencies as it is out of Amex's hands now.
We'll just have to wait and see!
