Got approved for 300 back in January and Friday is my 4th statement cut date. (GE CLI best dates to ask for one).
But I was like what the heck and called the backdoor number for GE money Bank Credit solution in this forums.
CSR asked me basic questions and how much I wanted. I said 1k.
She came back with the sweetest words ever C O N G R A T U L A T I O N S!!!, you CLI is approved for 1k ( just what I asked) Happy dance 
So I asked her, If I had asked for more, would you had given me more. And she started laughing with me. She said she could not tell me, but she was sure that I got as much as she could give me, however I would have to call again if I wanted to ask for more, she did not say when, but maybeonFridaywhenIgetmy5thstatementcut?

Congrats on the increase! I haven't requested one since the online CLI request button dissapeared. I will focus on my walmart card before trying a CLI for my Smart Connect.

I just got a Walmart CLI 300 to 500 last month with the online luv button (should had called better)
I dont think it will do you harm going for a smart connect CLI request on the phone if you pass the 4th statement cut.
