PenFed CLI 1 day before Credit Pull expiration !!

So, tomorrow is my exopiration of the last hard pull done for credit products (90 days from last pull) so im not sure if this really counts as stepping outside the garden, as there was no new HP (or even SP), but I paid down a good bit of my BTs on the account, was at $22k -- asked for a CLI online, ans BOOM!  $30,000 !!!!  PEnFed is ridiculously amazing -- for me, puts NFCU to SHAME !!!! Now mind you, income is good, plus they let me use my domestic partner's income since we live together, and my auto loan is paid ahead 6 months (why not at 2% interest!), and I make 2-3 payments per month on credit card.  

I have recommended all of my family and friends to PenFed, they have done me right in just 5-6 months time.  My goal is to hit $50k in the next year or so  but wont take a HP for it until my GARDENING is over

why not ?? what rerasons are given?  have you tried recon  and calling asking for a supervisor LO ?  i would !!  Penfed is amazing at recons

Everyone is getting approved so - I tried it again and I was denied for having too many accounts.

Congrats! Penfed will not approve me for any products either. My Fico score is 661 for Equifax. But, my internal score with them must be lower. So it is ymmv.

Both of you should try a well written, expalanatory RECON EMAIL !! I would venture to say 75% of the time it works !  IF your profile supports it of course -- my EQ NG FICO with them hovers around 650-660, though my FICO 8 is much higher now.  So to get $30,000 in credit at 660ish to me is amazing -- some of that was done on recon though (earlier CLIs).

Go for it !!!!  Worst they an say is no, then you try again in 30 days
