No problem. I've been a member with them since 11/11, and I was declined then (naturally, as scores were way lower), and then again in 7/12 when I did qualify for a refi on my car (went from 9.2% interest to 1.9%). However, they still declined me for a card with them (score at that time was 701).
I'm in much better shape now as far as new accounts/utilization go, and I am still waiting/hoping to get that preapproval for one of their cards. It's the one thing right now that would get me out of the garden.
I'd say that the odds look good. I don't think they would have asked for the pay stubs if you hadn't made it past the initial examination based upon what they found in the Equifax hard pull. Penfed needs more concrete proof for applications than most lenders (I had to proffer the same documents when I applied). I was approved a few days later.
Cool thanks Tall guy.lol
whats the word?
Nothing yet still pending.I sent the stubs 4 days ago
What taking so long?

According to CSR, they're are very busy. They're also taking care of other loans like mortgages, auto loans etc. Your apps is wating in line. Mine took four to five days to recon.
Ron.
Yes, they are not always the quickest and some things seem to get stuck in queues for longer than you expect.
When I asked for my card to be changed to chip&pin, there was no movement for a long time, before being told that they needed an answer from me (to a question that they hadn't asked). Then everything got lost and I had to go through the whole cycle again. But eventually, it works!
I mean no rush or anything but its just that it drive me crazy when i deal with this pending things specially when they tell you 24/48 hrs callback
Should i give them a call at this point or that's probably gonna spook them away
