i called to see if the request for the 2 ND review was done and I was told that $ 8500 is what they able to do at this point and they couldn't match the other lines
She mention that I could request a cli on my other card that was opened on October 2012 since that card hits 6 months on April
I thank her politely for the consideration effort and that was it...........
Any suggestion on this?
I thought this would be the outcome. Oh well...
Garden, garden garden, and come back in a year. I think they may move then. Remember that Penfed is pretty conservative (although there have been a rash of people on this board to sign up with them recently, myself included).

I think you are playing with fire, but I would try around the 6th to call and ask if they could increase that other card using the same pull, and than if and when you get that increase you can split your credit lines the way you want them. You got nothing to lose if they want to do it with the same pull.....
But, bigger picture, unless you can really use it, don't touch anything....
i never worry about inquiries so i have no problems with hard pulls
Every hard pull that is done with the same lender counts as one/Inside source information/
I am not happy however with the approval procces and limit
Still thinking of canceling the new card or both cards
Not for fico but from the lenders prospective I got approved for 20k with Citi even though i have 14 ins in last 6 months
Now 6 of those are from Citi so no you don't really completely get denied base on the inquiries alone.
I was with Chase underwriting like 35 times on the phone and inquiries are not factored on the credit decision as long as you explain them
