Penfed Pathfinder card with low limit approval

I just got approved for only $1,000 for Penfed Pathfinder card.

Yes, I am rebuilding my credit now. It is about 2.5 years after ch7 discharge. My EQ is around 660.

I still accepted the card but now I wonder if I should recon about CLI, right now.

Do you think I am too greedy to ask for it right away? Or should I wait for few months before I ask for CLI.

Please share your thoughts.

Id say youre pretty lucky to get it now since they have really cracked down, especially with Bk'ers . I would just use the card for 6 months showing some usage and history on the card, and with them, and then ask for a CLI. Thats what I did. I went from $500 to $5k, which is where mine currently sits.

Congratz mate! Like pizza said you're lucky. I was turn down with 691 fico9. My humble educated guess is that follow pizza's rule and you'll be just fine.

Congratulations on your approval.

You could always try for more. PenFed is great to talk with; just be able to explain why you want more (BT or whatever) and be prepared to answer any questions they have honestly. Worst they will say is no, and they will use the same pull for the approval.

I've since moved limits, but recon got my Promise from 2k to 6k last year
