Okay, I think I'm ready to leave the garden! I recently got a new job with a much better stated income, and I have some hefty charges coming up in the next couple of months that could go towards the minimum spend, so I think it's time I opened the two ultimate prime cards I've been wanting: CSP and BCP.
However, I'm trying to figure out the best way to do this and I need your help. My first big charge will be due mid to late February, so it would be optimal to have them both by then (I'd also like to factor in some additional time in case I have to recon).
I'm also due for my second 3x CLI with Amex in late February... however it would only report in early March, so I should probably just forget about that and not worry about the initial CLs (which shouldn't really be too low, considering my BCE is at $6K and the Freedom at $3K, that with a salary that was over 2x less than it is now).
Should I do them both at once? CSP first, then BCP, or does it not matter? Anything I'm missing?
The biggest current issue with my credit is the AAoA - 1 year 2 months as of right now. Otherwise it's all in great standing, with no lates, baddies or high util. I did a happy dance once I saw the CSP prequal in my account after seeing nothing/Slate for ages and ages, so I'm hoping that's a good sign!
Why not request a PC from BCE to BCP?
You won't be eligible for the signing bonus for the BCP, by the way. However, there may be another signing bonus for existing BC holders.

I would do CSP first then BCP. Please let us know how it all goes.
Thanks, guys!
And yes, the new browser "trick" was what I was hoping to do. I wish I could get my hands on the $250 creditcards.com offer, but it just doesn't show up when I search anymore.
Also, I currently have about a $900 balance on the BCE - should I pay that off before applying, or does that not matter?
The statement doesn't cut till next week.

Thank you so much! I was initially going to wait till next week, but then got impatient.
These are my first "grown up" AF cards, so I'm pretty excited!
