After having a bad start during my teenage years, I thought I would never be able to get a decent credit card. All I started with were Capital One cards. Still at 500 and 750. Been trying to fix my credit and settled my collection. Got an update on my scores here, ex, eq, tu there were steady, but later jumped up a bit close to the mid 600 and barely at the 700s. So I decided to give it a go and apply for some cards:
Citi Dividend Platinum Select Visa: Approved 1200 limit!
Discover It : Approved 500 limit! Low but i'll take it to get in the door with them. ask for a CLI after 3 months.
Barclays Rewards MC : Approved 1300 limit my highest limit thus far.
Really happy. Kind of want to pull the trigger on some other ones. Must resist.
