I wanted my DW to apply for the Sallie Mae for a long time. She applied for Amex PRG and BCP last month with the idea to them to report as open in 14, but Amex changed that, they are not reported yet, so instead of waiting for them to report then get denial for having new accounts I pushed her to apply today.
She got instant approval for $3,000, not her highest limit but not bad for the use the card will get.
