CitiBank pulled EX only and my score is 620. The limit they gave me is $500. That's good enough to manage gas expenses. 3 cents off per gallon plus FNR rewards makes it worth it. I'm also now in with Citi. I hope it helps build a relationship in the future with Citi because I still have a couple of baddies left on my CR. Thanks for the heads-up ronstar7.
You are most welcome!!! and Congratulations!!! Ask for a credit increase as soon as you set up your online account.
@ronstar7 I will if you are sure it won't be a hp. Did your request for CLI ever show up as a hp?
I called and asked for increase. They granted it but I soon was alerted by Equifax . It was a hard pull! So for this card it's a hp on EX for application and a hp on EQ for credit increase. I'm still very happy.
Hi there, I dont know if it is a YMMV type thing but for me personlly there was no additional pulls after the first one when I applied for the card. I did not call in to ask for the increases, I hit the luv button online when logged into my account.. The first time was the day after I got the card and the second was the dayafter that. No extra hard pulls at all ever. Also I live in NJ, not sure if any of that has anything to do with anything but wanted to share. I am sorry you got dinged twice.
Congrats! Thanks for sharing.
Congratulations! Very nice
Congrats! on the new gas card courtesy Citibank.

Grats
Citi's store cards as the Shell is are issued by Citi Financial and not Citibank proper, I cannot get a Citi proper CC due to BK them 18 yrs ago but I can get all the co branded store cards I want.
That's good info to know....Saves me the HP.....
