I never recieved an auto CLI after 6mo with my Barclaycard Rewards. If it hasn't happened with you, probably won't. Try the CLI button, straight forward and I was instantly approved for a $500 increase ($500 original CL).

Was that a hard pull though?

I am also interested in knowing if it was a HP. I went from 1500 to 3000 after the 4th statement with the Luv button. I did not see a HP on Transunion or Experian. I wasnt able to check Equifax but since Barclay's is notorious for pulling TU I'm pretty sure it was a SP.

Re: Should I expect a Barclays CLI?

Barclay has been very good at the auto CLI on my accounts  - 6-8 months apart.

*Note to self* Remember why and for how long you had to rebuild in the first place! One Day at a Time, One Day at a Time!

A $1,300 CLI was reflected on my 6th statement for my Barclay Rewards M/C.  I am hoping for another increase on my 12th statement which will be March.  Good luck!!!

Re: Should I expect a Barclays CLI? (UPDATE)

I got the Barclay Arrival on June 3, and today I got an auto CLI from $12,500 to $16,500.  Still haven't gotten my seventh statement, although it should be any day.

If it's helpful, I used it quite a bit during the first four or five months, and had a high balance of about $6,600. Still on intro period, and my balance is $4,000. Pay about $1,500 per month on it, on average.

As far as the Fico score, I got one on Sept. 17, and another on Dec. 3. No new score today, even with the credit increase, which surprised me. Hope this info helps.

Re: Should I expect a Barclays CLI?

Only CRs that I have recently pulled are EQ and TU. Barclays hasn't touched my EQ when it comes to HP/SP.

With TU, the only mentions of them HP/SP wise is a HP on 4/20/13 when I applied for their card, and a SP on 10/3/13 when I asked for a CLI through their site. Hmm I guess it wasn't 6 full months at that time, 6 billing cycles maybe? Not sure. Anyways, I went from $500 CL, asked for another $500, and was instantly approved for it with just a SP, just through their CLI button.

Hope this helps anyone.

FICOs: TU 775 | EQ 784 | EX 773
Amex BCE $15,000 | Discover IT $11,600 | Chase Freedom $7,000 (Visa Sig) | Citi DoubleCash $6,000 (WEMC) | Chase AARP $6,000 | Barclaycard CashForward $4,000 | Barclaycard Rewards $2,000 | Capital One Quicksilver $1,750

My 6th statement for my Arrival cut yesterday, and I logged in this morning....but no CLI yet. It looks like they last soft pulled me on Christmas Eve. My limit is $4k and I was hoping I would get a bump to $5k.

I had heavy spending on it the first 3 or 4 months and have spent the past few months paying the balance down (0% promo and I heard Barclays likes balances reporting). Current statement cut with a balance of $52.

I had one other app back in September, for my Hyatt card. So that's a total of 3 inquiries for 2013.

For those of you who got increases at the 6month point, how soon after your 6th statement cut did you get one? I'm wondering if it's just not going to happen for me... Smiley Sad

UPDATE: Well, I decided to go for a HP.   3 HPs per year on 1 report isn't so bad, right?  They pulled TU, as expected.  I asked for a $3k increase and they gave me $1500, which I was pleased with.  So now it's at $5500!

My Cap1 card is my last card due for a CLI this month but I'm not expecting anything from that, maybe another $500 if I'm lucky  Smiley Very Happy.  After that, back to my garden for another 6 months!  It's so nice to see the benefits of gardening.

Congrats to OP on the CLI. There seems to be no rhyme or reason as to whether the Barclay's luv button will get u a SP or a HP. Maybe there is a limit to how much you can ask for to make it a SP.
