Of course I got the "in review" message. So no, pre-approvals are not always guaranteed! Called recon line this morning and the friendly analyst said it didn't even pull my credit. Was going off my last app from the fall. She did a hp and said since I don't have a yr revolving history, she can only give me $500. Ok, I'll take it. I will throw my cable bill on it every month and just let it grow. Won't be poking that British bear at all! No new apps!! Oh but I did go for a cli on my NFCU card while I was out of the garden. SHHHH don't tell!!
Ha. Hey at least you did get some results from that Brit. Lender
Congrats! on pulling a rabbit out of the hat

Oh that sucks!! Yeah I've heard all about them and how fickle they can be. I won't be apping for anything till all reports are clean and I pick up USAA, Amex and Discover. End of next year at least!
Congratulations though!
congrats

Congrats on your approval
I hope Barclays don't close me. I got a Target card, Amazon Visa, BOA and Fidelity around the same time. Granted the hard pulls were few days before applying for Barclays and I got the cards few days before but trade lines hit around the same time. To add insult to injury my Barclay's card was for $2k limit and I put $1800 on it for wedding photographer just cause I wanted the $100 bonus and it has no interest for 12 months, although planning to pay $250 a month and pay it off in 7 months.
if they close it then oh well...I will just PIF and move on
Congrats and get back to the garden!
