Hey there, I'm in a good mood right now so I'll tell you my whole AMEX story.
Sooo dad told me to apply for my own costco amex so I can shop there myself without being an authorized user on his. So I did right after my 18th birthday. Shortly afterwards, around Dec 2015, I got a cli from my $5k starting limit all the way to $10k. Around February, an offer showed up that gave me the AMEX BCE, which had a matched CL of $10k. So then I had two AMEXs at $10k. I pretty much only spent around $3k on it for the bonus (+$2k up until now, totaling around $5k spend on BCE). And now, last week, I was like what the heck and applied for $15k CLI, and got it. AMEX likes me for some reason...
