to answer the previous question about why 6.3k ?
I was just looking at other credit lines. At the time my CITI was only 8.3k and Discover was 8.3k.
But I have been busy asking for CLI's at this time. Discover gave me 3k with only a soft and CITI gave me 2k with a soft.
I was trying to use the rationale that if I did not get matching 8.3k I would call to recon.
Well, after reading more on this forum, I decided to recon and the rep told me today that B of A can't use the same Credit Pull for two different requests. And that if I wanted more it would be another HP. Sucks I did not shoot for the moon.
This past few weeks are the first time I ever tried to get CLI's
I guess that 11.3k worth of CLI's with only one Hard Pull is not that bad.
I also called Wells today and asked for one and they said only Soft Pull and I guess we will see how much I get.
