Synchrony and Comenity approvals and denials

I've been on a huge application spree... I know too many inquiries is bad, but I want to build my AAoA's all at once. I now have lots of inquiries but I wanted to share which cards are easier and not so easy to get (so maybe someone can save a few hard pulls)   I filed bankrupt in 2014 but the BK was dismissed (not discharged)

I'll start with Comenity. I was approved for Victoria's Secret $250 starting limit. They pulled Equifax.   I was denied for Herberger's (BonTon store), Marathon, and overstock.

Synchrony has been really nice to me. I was approved for:

Lowe's $300

BP store card $500

Citgo store card $500

Chevron/Texaco store card $650

Walmart store $800

JCP store card $100 (yes, $100!)

Dick's Sporting Goods $800

Old Navy $200

Gap $200

Banana Republic $300 (I applied for this 6 months later than ON and GAP)

CareCredit $1,500

Phillips 66 $650

Belk $400

TJX store card $250

Amazon store $600

Toys R US store $500

Sam's Club store $500

Napa Autocare CareCareOne $500

Was denied for:

Ashley Furniture and LA-Z-Boy (both pulled Experian),  Mills Fleet Farm (TU), American Eagle (TU),

This is unrelated to the subject, but Target (TD Bank) approved me for $1,000, Discover IT $800 (has increased to $2,500 since), Wells Fargo and BoA both secured VISA's $300 limit each

Re: Synchrony and Comenity approvals and denials

Congrats.

Try to use each card at least once a year or every six months to keep them active, but only if you actually need something from those stores.

I remember seeing a thread about some of these cards closing accounts due to inactivity, so be careful!
