FYI,

Just as I thought. They ran EX for the preselected app online of which I was prompted to call in. The rep asked a few basic questions and asked how much I wanted. I said $10k. Came back for $6k. She then said she will send a CLI request for the additional $4k and asked if it was ok to pull my credit(not exact words). Then said they really will use the same pull, but had to get my ok. I said sure. Well, it really was an addtlitional pull this time on EQ. I know for sure from my credit alert I received today. However, I knew it was a sep pull when she said she had to re-verify me. My EQ has a fraud alert so I knew she was not pulling from the same CRA. Basically, if you don't get the amount you want and they have to submit a CLI it will be a separate pull Not the same pull on a different CRA.

If I had not gotten my car loan approval before app'ing I would have been pissed!!! haha
