I have had an account with Barclays since March 2012. Starting credit line was $4900. I have never received a CLI. I thought about asking for one but didn't do it. I did a small balance transfer this past period. I paid it off before the statement closed. I log on for my statement and lo and behold.. a $4000 increase. I was shocked. I have been so apprehensive with this card just because of their notorious closing behavior and was thinking of closing it. Glad I waited a bit. If only Chase was as nice, lol.

Before you app think...
Have you done your research of the CC?
Does it fit your spending?
Do you have a plan for the bonus w/o going into debt?
Can you afford the AF?
Do you know the cards benefits? Is it worth the HP?

Thanks everyone. It at least makes me feel like it was worth getting the card to begin with. I see now that they will reward at some point. I was discouraged after seeing people get the 6 month CLIs and never getting one.
