You have good point. Discover's credit is no better than NFCU or PenFed credit. So to heck with Discover.

It sounds like you MAY be able to get off the AMEX blacklist anywhere between 5 and 10 years after burning them? The easiest way to see is apply and if your are on the blacklist they won't even bother to pull your report? If you apply and see a HP, I guess your no longer on the blacklist. I wonder if this holds true for settlements as it does for BKs. Interesting either way.
How many years did it take you to get off the Blacklist ? For me its been 10 years, but I havent applied. yet

The OP states that his BK was discharged in 2007 so it would be around 9 years. As this thread is now nearly a year old it will be closed to further comments.
