I apped last week.  The app said that it didnt process and to wait for a letter in 7-10 days.  I called and the analyst said that he couldnt even see the app.  I figured I would wait to see if anything came in the mail, but just now I received an approval email!  No limit stated, just the last four of the card and welcoming me to the REI card.  Sweet!

congrats - mind sharing the bureau they pulled (if you know yet) and your scores?

U.S. Bank pulls TU and they pulled TU for me. Score at the time was 723. Thick profile

No problem. Sorry I thought they mostly pulled TU. Also from what I hear is that they are picky if you are considering app-ing. This is my first time apping with them and am glad it turned out.

Thanks! It'll be great because I do shop at REI a lot and the rewards are great. 5% back when I shop at REI and then I also earn dividends for each purchase For being an REI member.

I had a thin profile to start til a couple of monrths ago and I was also approved for the REI card with a $100 gift card a few weeks after first purchase. I was approved for $1000 with a score of 642 on transunion, just in case anyone was considering on applying. I absolutley LOVE REI so this card gets used ALOT. I will be requesting a CLI in one month after I have had it 5 months with excellent payment history. Also when I aopplied I had 3 medical collections unpaid and still got the card.
