Interesting.  I talked with them about applying for a new card and requesting a CLI and was told it would be 2 separate pulls.  I'm not sure if that is a completely different scenario to them or not, but to me if done within minutes and no manual UW was required it should be the same pull.  Maybe I was just hoping.

Wow I need to try that. I did my last CLI with them on the phone last year and was told that 25k per account was the max that was allowed according to their in house policy. I had had a 20k limit with them for years and thats all they said they could give me even though I belived I should have gotten more. Congrats on the approval! 

However that was with out a HP so maybe they said thats the max with out an HP. I wouldnt mind increasing it as im sure they would give me double what I have.

Declined CLI using app.  I'm probably at their max exposure with 2 cards at $11K each .Will have to wait for letter to know for sure about the denial reason.    Does anyone know if they'll combine limits?  I'd close my Amex and move it all to the MC if they do.

They do not.  I tried that about 8 months ago and they said that they do not combine limits.

On the app, while you are on your credit card account hit menu, you'll see an option that says "change credit limit".  That threw me off a bit too, I was like I don't want to change it I want to increase it.  When you chose that option they give you the option of reducing or increasing your CL.  Hope this helps.

I don't have this option at all under Menu. The closest option to that I have is to change the due date... I wonder if that means I'm not eligible for an increase?

Just updated the app on my iphone and under "whats new" it says at the bottom "members can now increase or decrease their credit card limit from the app"
