Unexpected Target CLI!!!!

Shockingly the first time I carried a balance I get a cli (used my card 2 days before my cycle ended for the discount while on vacation.) I never expected an increase because I've read so many posts about long term card holders that never went past $200. My charge was for only $73 and was paid off a week after the statement cut. It's been less than a year & I've made it to $400.

Have you done your research of the CC?
Does it fit your spending?
Do you have a plan for the bonus w/o going into debt?
Can you afford the AF?
Do you know the cards benefits? Is it worth the HP?

CONGRATS! I've had mine 8 Months and nothing - I've heard people having the card 6 Years and haven't had a CLI. Eeeeeek.
