I don't know how many people have gone through the process of applying for an SDFCU visa card but I submitted an app on June 3rd. Today I received a whole bunch of credit card forms to sign as well as my original application to sign. I would like to note that they adjusted my monthly income to be higher than I reported on my original application. However they did not request paystubs yet. Is this normal? Could they have called my employer? Also is this basically a sign that I am approved and that everything is being finalized. I requested a 10k limit so it would be sweet if approved. They gave me a credit score of 730 as well which would get me their lowest rate.
Thanks
UPDATE: Received a call from a very nice loan specialist with a southern accent, just asking me for my employers phone number. Then was told they could give me 5k at 6.99% apr due to the amount of cards I had open. I made a joke that they sucker you in the with sign up bonuses and that I plan to eventually close some. She laughed and said well my credit is excellent just note that your score goes down everytime you apply. Pretty pumped that they put the card up there with most of my other limits and that the apr is so low. It is almost like a personal loan on command.

Not necessary. I got denied after I signed the docs. Good luck. My score is similar to yours.
Ron.
Damn okay. Thanks. I'm just hoping I dont get slapped with a pyramiding debt like I did with penfed in January. Those sign up bonuses are always so tempting
Forgot to add that no paystubs were ever requested.
