I tried for the Venture Pre-Approval on 03/23/15 afte getting my first prime card (AMEX) that day - no go. Applied anyway - no go. Was told "not enough exprience with this line amount". I have paid off 3 credit cards since then and my scores went up about 40 points. Went to the Cap One pre-approval application, and was pre-qualified for the Venture and Quicksilver. I asked in Credit Card Applications should I do it - YesItsMe said do it, and of course Credit Addict said "Yes!" Pulled the trigger for the Venture - $10K approval! Highest limit ever! Getting rid of any credit cards that have an AF, and am gardening so I can buy a house.
MyFico has gotten me to this point. After not knowing about credit, I am now teaching others how to obtain it themselves! Best website ever!
