Walmart 7 to 10 day message

I applied for the Walmart card online on 08/19/2014 and got this message "Thank you for your interest in a Walmart Credit Card.

You will receive a decision by mail in the next 7–10 days. Please make a note of your application's reference number for your records". Only wanted the card for their gasoline benefits so I didn't bother to call and check the status. I grabbed the mail today and saw I was approved for $900. I guess the 7 to 10 day message isn't always bad. I had filed Chapter 13 in 2008 and included them. Hope this helps anyone thinking about applying.

Thanks everyone! It's been a long journey since filing for Chapter 13 in 2008 discharged in 2013. I have a Discover $2200, Barclay card $6400 limit and Capital one card $1300 limit. Now going into gardening mode for awhile.

I was initially approved for $1,100 and called and asked for $10,000 and they counter offered with $5,000!
