Ok. Then I won't actually have to go in and add the account because it's already on there then right? I just have to wait to get the card to be able to sign up for the paperless and get the free TU score at that time?
Yes and Yes
Thanks so much. I will be sitting on pins and needles, tapping my fingers on the desk, impatiently waiting for this card.
I GOT IT!!! Doing the happy dance today. I'm so excited. I registered online, signed up for their paperless billing and pulled my FICO score right away. I was a little disappointed that my score had only increased by 5 points since the last time I pulled it 5 months ago. Geesh, what's a person gotta do to get this thing to raise faster....geesh.
So, the plan now is to wait 6 months and try something else?
It is my understanding that when someone pulls your credit, the hard pull stays on the account for 2 years but doesn't count after 1 year right? So basically at the moment, I only have 1 inquiry on my EQ (the Orchard account) that will no longer count...as of tomorrow it will be 1 year. Does that mean I can apply with another place that only pulls EQ now? Or do I still have to wait? Walmart Discover pulled TU, so it's only showing the 1 hard pull on it from this new card now.
Looking for advice on how to proceed now.
