I got my walmart card last year in march started ith $600 limit now its $1500 I had 3 raises on it by internet button and phone. I filed bk on them a discover version but they gave me this card anyways I filed bk 3 years 9 months ago... My Fico is 718 where they check transunion. I called the backdoor number for credit dept and a real nice guy got on the phone and said you cannot call to have your walmart card considered for an upgrade you must re-apply all over again. I did that and they said no they are not opening a 2nd card and gave me the usual 4 decline reasons. "Bankruptcy, or collection filed, Length of time accounts have been established too many inquiries last 12 months. They say my fico is 660 which on credit karma it says 660 fako.. The credit dept told me they don't use fico they use a internal credit bureau score same numbers as fico but different. I asked if it was the vantage score he said its one of them and the TU risk score... They just display the Fico for educational reasons he told me. How long does it take to get your card upgraded to a Discover card? My limit I had with them when I had my Discover card was 2k. They seem to of forgot I filed BK on them. They also gave me a paypal smart connect I wanted the Paypal Extras MC but that is ok I hooked the line of credit up to my debit card and earn 1% cash back. I got a weird $1093 limit there they raised it on their own to that.... And I have an Amazon store card $1100.. Do these affect you getting a higher credit line with the Walmart or a Discover upgrade? I asked them what the big deal is why they won't upgrade is because they said the cardholder has more freedom to use it more often than the store only card... But I said you can run it up and stick them the same but he said theres more defaults on the discover version... I hope they upgrade me.... If I get the money I will pay back Walmart they are good to me..

Have you called the backdoor for a recon?
I got my card 9/15 with a $1K limit, on 2/15 I got an auto CLI to $1200, and today I got another increase to $2500. So only 1 auto CLI and the other 2 I called the backdoor. I would seriously check that backdoor if you haven't.
