congrats on the approval

First post yay! I went on a slight spree over the last 2 months and I got approved for 4 out of 5 cards. I had a hard time in the past geting approved for anyrhing so it feels good to keep getting approved. I haven't tried any heavy hitter cards yet because my score isn't ready.

2 Capital One Platinum cards both at $1,000

Amazon Store Card $400

Walmart Store Card $150

Barclay declined me because of my debt to income ratio, primarily because of my student loans. I called the recon dept and they still declined but I'm going to try again.

I'm a bit annoyed with the credit limit Walmart gave me so I'm going to contact them. Should I contact them by phone or by chat to ask them to increase my limit?

FICO TU 621 via Walmart

Transunion 648

Those are the only scores I have right now.

Congrats on the approval.....The CL will grow quickly

Discover I.T. (11k) - U.S. Bank Platinum (9k) - NASA (30k) - Venture (22K) - AMEX Delta Skymiles Gold (6k) -AMEX PRG (AU) plus a few CU CC's and Store Cards = 130k (roughly)

Re: What's up with Walmart and this low credit line?!

I had a $300 cl and got it up to $1100 quickly and for no reason they cut me to $300 then $100. Had card for almost 4 years. Finally last cli denial I canceled. My avg cl during the last year of attempting increases was about $15k. The day I canceled citi increased me from $15k to $22k. Them and cap1 are only problem lenders I've had. Ve heard of people getting limits on increases just didn't work for me

Trubeliever82, I wonder why would they decrease your limit. Do you mind me asking how was your usage on the card?
