Worst DCU apr?

I just got approved for their credit card,
SL $10k, apr 15.75%
I was so hopeful it would be something a little better!
Anyone heard of worse DCU credit card interest rates?

First, congrats on your approval. 10K SL is fantastic to see. 

Secondly, what card did you get? I see that the no-frills platinum goes as low as 9%, while the rewards card starts at 11.75%. highest APR for both is 18%, which still beats other lenders by a fair bit.  

In the grand scheme of things, you're a little on the high side, but there's no reason you can't get that APR lowered after 6 months - DCU sometimes does auto-APR reductions.

You're absolutely right... compared to most of my other cards, it's a great rate. I guess I was hoping for something closer to 9-10%. They did say it may go down in the future so I'll work towards that!

Considering most credit cards like to offer 20% I'd say be happy and ask for reduction later. 15% better than 23% plus

What is your EQ FICO 5? Do you know? What is your utilization?

Congrats. I have the Platinum. Originally at 8.75%, now its at 9%.

I have a DCU auto at 1.74%

I have an auto loan with DCU @ 3.24%
Sadly my EQ5 is considerably lower than the other EQ versions- its 649

Once you get that to 700 you will get an APR reduction. Thats why you got a higher rate.

But you did get a very good SL.
