....this was awesome last night! I really didn't know where she stood with Chase, as she only has a Chase backed amazon card.
Wanted her to apply for both personal and business (100K total points or 4 round-trip tickets) - but...., er - she hasn't started her business yet?
Either way, the 50k will cover our flight to Vegas in November which is awesome, as I covered out flights to Montreal in Sept using Skymiles.
I'd love to app, but chase will not approve or recon so long as my repo is still reporting (until next year! )

She had a card issued to me as well. Will take an AAoA hit, but the 8k TL should play nice with what little util% i have reporting now. (PIF'd yesterday)

That and the CSP are my wish list cards for next year!
Wait until the CSP has a 50k or 60k UR points promotion going on to app. I closed mine due to the AF and won't app again as long as they have this 40k-only promotion going. I just got the SW Rapid Rewards because 50k RR points is a pretty damned good promotion from SWA - I don't think I've ever seen it go above 60k, and that was once.

I was on the fence about this card ever since seeing they were offering the 50k point promo. I was supposed to be gardening for another 3 months since my last card I applied for (November). I figured the bonus points was worth the HP/lower AAoA hit, as two free roundtrip flights will be sweet.
I got the dreaded "further processing" required and thought I'd been declined. Phoned the following morning and rep took about 1 minute to review and said I was approved for $8k CL on a Visa Sig (first siggy yay; been wanting to try the concierge service to see if I'd find it useful, but wasn't really prepared to pay $450 for Amex Plat). This is a lot more generous than Chase were with my Chase Amazon (only $3.1k CL) and I wonder if it's due to my AMEX 3x CLI .
Now to use this card exclusively until I hit the $2k spending req. Should be able to make it pretty easily due (esp worst case I can put my car insurance on it or buy a ton of Visa or amazon gift cards). Back to the garden~~

If you're losing more than 1% return by being forced to use the SWRR card for minimum spend (you're probably not, a RR mile is worth about 1.4c), buy 4 $500 Amex giftcards from Bigcrumbs at 1.7% off. (You can then use them for whatever, including paying rent through various online portals.)
