Re: citi cli

I might be wrong, but I think you need to wait until your 6th statement generates before you are eligible for a CLI.  My husband was approved for his Citi Simplicity card on May 18th and he is waiting for his 6th statement to cut before he requests a CLI.

In regards to the amount to request, I would ask for 3x your current limit.  Good luck!!!

FICOs: TU08 841 2/9/15 per Barclay; TU98 800 4/8/14; EQ04 769 6/8/14; EQ08 809 3/4/15; EX08 812 3/8/15 per MyFICO

My Wallet: Amex Gold NPSL; Amex Optima Platinum $25K; Amex Costco TE $19.3K; Amex BCE $12K; BofA Visa $10.1K; Cap1 Quicksilver Visa Sig $10K; CSP $28.2K; Chase Freedom $13K; Citi Double Cash $11.6K; Citi Simplicity Visa $17.3K; Discover IT $24K; Fidelity Amex $25K; PenFed Plat Rewards Visa Sig $20K; Sallie Mae WMC $17.5K; US Bank Cash+ Visa Sig $24.5K; Walmart Discover $10K; Wells Fargo Rewards Visa Sig $14K

Congrats!  I'm coming up on the 6 month mark too.  Out of curiosity, were you notified in anyway that you were eligible for the CLI?  Did they email you, or did you see something on your main account page?  Or, did you just wait until you got the statement and then submit the request?

Chase Freedom: $1500, Citi Diamond Preferred: $3000, Barclays: $3900, Chase Disney Visa: $1500, Chase Southwest Signature: $5000, Citi TY Preferred: $3000, Cap One Platinum: $1750, Cap One Platinum Rewards: $2500, Orchard Bank: $900, Kay Store Card: $6600, PayPal $2200
