Congrats!

Use it gently.. pay it well and it will reward you.

I started with a Cap1 secured card less than 2 years ago and I could not be happier with the results.

Just remember, it does NOT happen overnight. It takes time.

You will reach your goals! I started out rebuilding at 28 with an Orchard Bank card too. I am now 32 and I own a home and have 3 more credit cards. My starting limit was $300 and now my total CL is $7100. You are on the right track! Congrats! Smiley Happy

Yep. I also drive a brand new Acura now too! LOL! Once you get 2-3 years of revolving history under your belt, doors will really start to open up for you! Started in 2008 and 2012 was my year...new car and house plus 3 additional unsecured cards (one is the Freedom) with decent limits.

I was a cash only person for the longest time as well. I paid cash only for a 7 year period. You sound just like me! Smiley Happy
