portfolio is finally complete

chase finally accepted me for a freedom card, my portoflio is finally complete. and now to garden for a long long time.

full portfolio is as follows

AMEX green

AMEX bce $2000

Chase freedom $1000

discover it $1500

capital one quicksilver $750 lol

citi div $3000

yay. also what are the chances of chase starting me out with a higher limit when i receive the card. my higher limits on the discover card and citi havent reported yet. so they see lower limits on my report.

Re: portfolio is finally complete

Congrats on achieving your goals!

My experience with Chase has been they are rather stingy on limits at first, but open up after you prove yourself.

I got my Amazon Visa 6 months ago with $1000 limit, and was just approved for the CSP last week.

Re: portfolio is finally complete

Yep. I ran my Amazon Visa up to near max and then paid it down to $100. When I recon'd for a higher limit on my CSP (no luck) he did point out that I was managing my Amazon card very well! So they like to see usage and to see it paid off quickly. That's probably true of any lender though!

Re: portfolio is finally complete

Congrats cck

Before you app think...
Have you done your research of the CC?
Does it fit your spending?
Do you have a plan for the bonus w/o going into debt?
Can you afford the AF?
Do you know the cards benefits? Is it worth the HP?
