starwoods approval

Amex just puzzles me

i got instantly approved for the new Starwoods card at the 30K sign on bonus with a 15K starting limit

 

surely , i expected an approval, but not that high

I have delta amex gold with 25K limit, but my initial on that was only 11K. 

 

what puzzles me is that I have a new car loan, mortgage started reporting and a 5000 balance on my amex delta, yet i got such a high starting limit

 

and my scores are no longer 800+ , i am about 770 per the amex EX FICO 08 on my account

 

oh well

no complaints i promise lol

just puzzled
