I requested cli's online for my FIA Fidelity Amex, BoA Travel Rewards and US Bank Cash+. I have all 3 reports frozen and decided to go for it. All 3 were approved the next day. Just wanted to give a heads up that it is possible to get CLI online with these lenders without a hard pull.
I thought BoA would turn me down because I requested one with my FIA account(same lender) and got the call in message. Then I tried BoA and got the 7-10 day excuse. But low and behold all were approved in 1-2 days without a phone call.

I don't know why I never thought about freezing accounts and then requesting CLI!
What a great idea I am going to work on that this week. Its a bummer to pay to freeze/unfreeze. C'est la vi.

I was under the impression that lender can still do a HP on your account if you have its product and even though your reports are frozen.

this is probably true and why I hadn't tried it to begin with

supposedly they can, but it seems to happen pretty rarely-they will usually ask you to unfreeze or just deny you because they coudn't pull.
Congrats
Thanks everyone!
I have heard that too but I have never had a current (credit card) lender hard pull me with frozen reports. I wanted to freeze my reports to make me think twice before apping and to request guilt free CLIs!
In fact I will ask. Has anyone ever taken a hard pull with frozen reports for a credit card related thing?
