I know that feeling SO WELL! I'll buy something on my Amex card or another card and pay it off a week or so later. It really bothers me to be owing anything! Right now I'm only floating my Citi Simplicity balance (1200 left from replacement window purchase) and Best Buy because they have 0% interest on them. Everything else gets PIF before statements cut. But I do agree, for FICO scoring purposes you do need to show some utilization otherwise it will drop your score.
