Does anyone know the best way to score a BT with no transaction fee? I have a BOA card with a BT offer and I am looking to transfer a high balance from PSECU to BOA because my BT rate runs out at the end of this year. The rate goes from 2.9% to 9.9% on a $14k balance. Any ideas on how to handle this? I thought about transferring it out to another lender. Thanks.
Many Credit Unions do not charge BT fees (NAVY 0% promo ends 2/28/13) Chase Slate doesn't charge a BT fee within 60 days of account opening and Barclay Ring does not charge a BT fee but isn't 0% interest.
Chase Slate is your best option right now, no BT Fee, no interest for 15 months...

he already has one in his siggy... i guess he could PC it to a Freedom and apply for another Slate if need be... or most cards from Citi offers 1 year free BT
Wont be 0% to transfer but how about back to Discover with the new it!?
Navy offers the 0% transfer fee and currently still have the 0% interest for 12 months.
I prefer to look to the longest BT I can find though.... I think Slate at 18 is pretty much longest these days, Citi use to have the 22 months. Miss the days of 2.9 for life over at Chase (3.9,4.9 were more common)
